Select, Enable Right Click option to copy the content from the webpage with right-click. After installing, open the webpage and click on the extension icon on the address bar. so it seems like it can't connect to the server on the export function. Click on Add to Chrome button to install the extension on your browser. Opens the new tab, DOESN'T show the server name and that's the end of it. On a working machine, when i click the export button, a new tab opens with the name of the reporting server in it, it thinks a bit, then that tab closes and i get the "open or save" message in the original tab. on another machine i found this "rsclientprint 2008" addon so i downloaded if i copy the url to another browser the export works fine, as expected. Scroll to the Allow clipboard access option. Select Custom Level and then the Advanced tab. Select the zone, the zone is normally Intranet, but you might have to change it in the Internet and Trusted sites zones. i still can't figure out what i'm missing. Select Tools > Internet Options and click the Security tab. I've tried adding the server to the safe zones, i've played with some tabs settings, i enabled the "run active x" options.įinally i reset all settings of IE to their defaults. depending on certain settings (like adding the server to intranet zone), i can get the new tab to say nothing or "Blank Page". Curiously enough, I can type fine, press delete, etc, it's just the clipboard shortcuts which don't work. My workaround is to right-click the address bar and paste using the shortcut menu. Click Copy as Path option in the context menu. Same here, pasting works fine in Edge but not in Internet Explorer. Press and hold Shift, and right-click on a file or folder. It’s an extended command which means you need to hold down the Shift key to access the extended menu item. So i've got a report displayed in IE, but when i go to export to any file format, IE opens a new tab and that's it. The much useful Copy as Path built-in context menu exists in all versions of Windows.
